On April 5th and 6th, Biocross do Brasil Fertilizantes was present at the VII edition of Abisolo Forum and Exhibition, one of the most important events for the dissemination of technological innovations and knowledge in the area of plant nutrition with a view to increasing the productivity of the Brazilian agribusiness.

After the opening, Professor Atila Francisco Mogor, from the Federal University of Paraná, presented the lecture "Mechanisms of Action of Biofertilizers". Among other aspects, Professor Mogor pointed out that one of the most advanced areas currently in research in the segment is that of plants treated with seaweed extracts. “The most relevant point nowadays is the area that studies seaweed extract as a signal to stimulate plant growth and attenuate the effects of water or salinity stress”.

A total of 510 attendants were present, including businessmen, researchers, sectoral and political leaders, as well as professionals linked to different agribusiness chains.

In addition to several lectures on a series of topics of technical and scientific relevance to the segment, the event also featured an exhibition by 43 companies in the plant nutrition segment.

This event took place at Expo Dom Pedro in Campinas (state of São Paulo).
